I was looking online for a source for the tailwheel spring leafs, which for the Hatz Classic the Aeronca ones do the job.
Besides Aircraft Spruce and Univair, I stumbled upon KRN aviation http://www.krn.com/, they deal with surplus, new, used and refurbished parts.
Low and behold they had a surplus set of the U3-428 for significantly less (40% less!) than a new one from the former suppliers.
Worth checking out.
