Very nice! How about more pics of your skin dies? I'm planning to do the same when the time comes.

Hello Jeff
As it so happens I screwed up. When building the last aileron I found that I had two lower skins left(12in wide). Some where I had used an upper skin (12.5in wide). I'll be setting everything up again to press another skin so there will more pics.

Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one that screws up! Long story short, I learned how to do splices in tubing this weekend.......

Looking forward to the pictures.

Hi Jeff
Thanks for your interest. I'm a do it your self type guy. If I think I can do it I'll give it a try. I research everything I can find on an topic, put in a pot, stir it up and add my own ideas and come out with my plan. I've built a big heap of scrap metal in the process, but this is my thing, I have more time than money. Incidentally a lot of this scrap gets reused.

Great photos!

I've also made a mess of some things during the process.... part of the fun I reckon!

Looks like you are doing very nice work! Thanks for posting, keep em' coming please! Very interesting and satisfying to see how folks are doing things out there.
