HC #164 update

Post by Woha »

Hi Hatzers,
Some time ago I was trying to purchase the complete kit from Makelan. As it was not possible, I found the company in Poland who will make my plane from the plans. Here we go: the fuselage under construction. Modifications to the plans: toe brakes. Now I'm thinking about rear seat hight adjustment. What is your opinion?

Wojciech,
Are you going to apply for an experimental airworthiness certificate for this airplane? I don't know anything about the regulations in Poland, but in the USA the FAA does not allow an airplane to be built by a "hired gun" if it is immediately going to be sold as an experimental category aircraft. This may not apply to you in Poland at all.
Regardless, everybody on this forum likes to see project pictures, so keep them coming. If you can provide more detail and design data for your toe brakes and seat modifications, that might be of some value to the other builders.
Best Regards.

Hi,
There is no experimental category in Poland.
If anybody interested- some pictures of my toe brakes. Front and rear connected. No problem with the firewall when brake pressed.
