Thanks for keeping the pics coming. I (we) enjoy them so much! I can almost hear that motor running. Your Hatz is such a beautiful airplane. The paint scheme kind of reminds me of a Spad!

Re: Progress Update
Thanks guys for all the warm comments- we really appreciate!
And we are so thankfull for your support you have all given to us during the last 9 1/2 years of so satisfying building!
We are also full of thanks for the late Mehlin Smith, without his most beautiful Hatz we never have had the courage to modify the genious Hatz design into a fake vintage golden age biplane!
I (Hans) use to call our baby "poor man's Waco" although it cost a fortune in materials to build!
Not to be forgotten to be mentionned is Paul and the Rotec family company without their beautiful 9-cyl. radial engine this project of a Waco look alike 1930's biplane would not have been possible! Thank you all so much!
The Rotec's sound is very nice! You hear a geared radial running like a baby P&W, although it's not popping or knocking like a Kinner or Warner.., but it's nice! Watch for forthcoming video...

Hi Hatzers,
Two final inspections survived with no issues. Now we are are awaiting the ultimate inspection by the BAZL (FAA), which will hopefully yield into a sign off for flight! Soon there will no be any excuse!
