I would like to add to the chorus of admiration! Beautiful is not nearly adequate to describe what you have created. BRAVO! Paul Uhlig

Absolute work of art! We'll see this Hatz on the cover of Sport Aviation for sure. Quite a fine specimen of Hatzdom!

First start of Rotec R3600 radial in "Vintage Hatz" installed: watch for forthcoming video on youtube.
Everything went fine, very nice sound with shrouded collector ring.

Re: Progress Update
Hi Doug,
Yes, it is an MT Prop. Dia 200 cm (79") and pitch at 0.75R of145 cm (57"). However, we are investigating this, as we reach the max. speed with the throttle not yet wide open.
We had to use a German prop for ease of aceptance by the Swiss authorities. It is although nice: made from ash and tinted like walnut with glued on metal leading edge.
Her is the video of the first run..... enjoy!

Re: Progress Update
Curious why the 79" diameter as the plans call for 84 (or is it 86"?).
I'd love to get your assessment of the prop once you have a chance to fly it as I'm considering MT as well.

Re: Progress Update
Today we loaded the fuselage assembly on our trailer and moved to the airport. Nex Friday the wings and rest will follow! All went well so far.
Next week we expect to have (probably not the final) an inspection by the authorities ... we see how long it takes to get into the skys....
Pictures after final assembly to follow!
