Need 3-View Drawing for Trying Different Paint Schemes

Post by Ebby »

I have page one of the Makelan plans but does anyone have a 3-view without all the interior detailing they would be willing to share? Just an outline so I can start working out some paint schemes.

Thanks.

I took copies of the front page of the 8 1/2 x 11 drawings and filled it in with White Out leaving only the outline and then made copies of that. Not a very elegant solution, but it worked.

Hey Doug,

I thought of that too. I also scanned the 8 1/2 by 11 into Photoshop and tried to 'gut' the drawings. Very labor intensive. I'll wait a bit more maybe Jeff at Makelan can do something with his originals. I'd ask him but don't know how best to contact him. A nice clean 3-view would be fun to work with on paint schemes.

You can scan the drawing, open it with Infranview, and use the adjust colors tab to make it black and white. If you'd like, I'd be more than happy to help if you send the file to me.

I did this with the Bantam and have used it for all kinds of stuff (purely for personal use only, obviously).

I downloaded Infraview and will try out some of the features. If I run into a problem I'll be sure to contact you for help. Thanks for the tip.
