There are a couple options that I can think of...
1. Buy used original vintage gauges and have them overhauled (ebay, Barnstormers, etc or contact an overhaul facility like Keystone Instruments - Lock Haven, PA and see what they may have for sale)
2. Buy vintage-style gauges from someone like Univair, Wag-Aero, etc. These maybe new replicas or overhauled units.
3. Buy new gauges and have an overhaul facility replace the faces with vintage ones. Places like Keystone Instruments and others overhaul vintage stuff all the time and have the ability to replace the faces and/or custom print the faces to your specs.

Thanks,

It looks like that should work.

One thing, if you buy new gauges and want the faces replaced, you should probably contact someone like Keystone first and explain what you are trying to do and get some recommendations. Not all new gauges may be of a configuration that is compatible with vintage faces.

They may be able to simply silk screen a vintage face for you too. Give them a call and see what they say.

I noticed that Dennis Simmons had his vintage looking instruments customized with the Hatz logo. Anybody know Dennis? He's been there, done that and may help shed some light on the subject. Maybe we can get a group discount.

I would imagine most overhaul shops could accommodate that work.
