Thanks. 1024# Empty. No radios. Pretty basic instruments. Using 2200 rpm several four direction runs using the gps are showing 93 knots. Really happy with that! Pretty amazing plane to build from plans when you factor in the builder was still in high school when he bought the plans and started building it. Took him six years. His family had their own runway on their orchard and had a Champ, then Citabria and a Cub. You are right that there had to be so few of them flying then to undertake that kind of project really amazes me. He did a great job welding, fabric and paint. Said he flew it to Oshkosh in 1982.
