Sorry about that. You're right that the CB-1 axles bolt on. As Jeff pointed out, ACS has a number of options.

Thanks Doug. Actually I'm building a CB-1, but posted the Classic forum because it seems more active. My plans show bolted on axles - I assumed that was common between the two plans, but probably I could do it the Classic way and weld them on.

I'll look the springs up there, as you suggested.

The axles are not Cessna axles. Cessna axles are designed to bolt on the landing gear. The axles on the Classic plans are welded on and are available from ACS & others.

Hey guys,

Where to get the axles and springs for the landing gear. It shows the axles are Cessna 170 or 182 axles, but I think if I call Cessna and say I need new axles for my Skyhawk/Skylane I will pay too much!!

What about the big springs in the gear??
