Just a word of caution when using metric plywood.....
In nerd-land 1/4" equals 0.250" and 6mm equals 0.236", so be carefull where you use the metric plywood. A gap of 0.014" is quite a bit to fill with your glue.
I used 6mm for the nose pieces on my ribs and when I matched them up to the cap stips... viola' ...the gap. I felt it was too much for my glue to bridge so I spent considerable time sanding down the cap strip so it would meet the nose piece.

And another is http://www.aitwood.com. I've used Anderson International and they have not disappointed me in terms of price, quality and service.

Here is another http://www.boulterplywood.com/. Look under the 'Products' tab at the top for aircraft grade plywood. :)

I found http://www.bd-international.com/ to have good 3-ply 1.5 mm Finnish Birch plywood for the gusset material (1/16").
They also have 6mm (1/4") of the same. 12 plies no less!
Their size is 60 or 61inch square, which they can cut in half along the grain for shipping.
Based in Tacoma WA, this might be a better option for builders in the west coast.
The type I got is "ULTRA-THIN BIRCH AIRCRAFT QUALITY PLYWOOD, 90º GRAIN, "Ext.glue"".
You'll have to call them up, as they don't really do e-mail - a little old fashioned maybe, but good wood!

There's a lot of debate regarding wood sources: who is the best, who has the best knowledge/selection/price, etc.

I bought my plywood from Aircraft Spruce. They had everything I needed and shipped promptly. One note, their shipping cost for a 4x8 sheet was $120, however that cost was the same whether I ordered one sheet or ten, so I bought all my plywood in one order to save on the shipping.
